In addition to great entertainment, there will be plenty of family fun, including children’s games, face painting and Irish-themed crafts. Over thirty Irish vendors will be in attendance! Food and refreshments will also be available. Enjoy wonderful “Irish Lasagna” prepared by the Ladies of St. Patrick’s, “Fish and Chips” and other favorites provided by Rare Olde Times Irish Pub, Rosie Connolly’s and many more.

A huge children’s play area will be sponsored by the great folks from “LINC”.

Proceeds benefit the St. Baldrick’s Society and their fight against childhood cancer, the Church Hill Association, the Church Hill Crime Watch, Richmond Hill, Child Saver’s Clinic of Richmond, St. John’n Church, the St. Peter’s Meals Program, Stone’s Circle of Friends and many other neighborhood causes. Proceeds also benefit the historic preservation of St. Patrick’s Church, a “little church with a big heart” built in the 1850’s by Irish Immigrants to Richmond, and its outreach programs.

A $5.00 donation will be collected at the gate. Sponsored in part by Guinness & Harp Beer and our friends at Loveland Distributing.

  1. After searching your postings across Facebook and here I do not see any reference to where Church Hill is located. What state? What address? I was forced to do an area code search for 804 to learn that it is in VA. Perhaps more people would visit if they only knew where it was.

  2. What is the address of the festival? I don’t see it anywhere on the website.

  3. We look forward to the Irish Festival every year! I live directly behind St. Patrick’s in the house on the alley with the white picket fence. Please ask your volunteers to NOT use duct tape to hang signs on our fence. It has been recently painted and the tape pulls the paint off every time. They are welcome to hang a sign with string on the fence. Thank you so much. And good luck with the weather and the festival this year.

  4. Do you have an idea when the parking around that area will start to fill up? Are there any events/things happening before 10am Saturday? Will the vendors and musicians have places to park inside the gates, or will they be using neighborhood parking?

  5. There is a special area behind the stage for musicians to unload. We ask as many folks as possible to park in the lot at 17th and broad and take the shuttle up to the festival!

  6. I apologize that this happened! We will make sure that we let them know they cannot hang signs with tape!

  7. We have fixed the site, thank you for bringing it to our attention! We are located at 25th and broad street in Richmond, VA!
